Access is a growing ministry at GracePoint Church. It is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities and their families.
Currently we offer two meeting times on Sunday mornings: 9:30-10:45 during our Worship Service and 10:45-12:00 during our Life Group hour.
While attending an Access class, students will learn about the Bible and a relationship with Christ in a safe and fun environment that is tailored to his or her needs. We also incorporate areas of service because Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are all created to serve through Christ. Lessons are based on the age graded curriculum of the church and a Sunday school curriculum written for kids with disabilities. Each lesson is designed to maximize each student's strengths and abilities!
As appropriate, students are paired with a buddy and accompanied to the general age graded programming. Each Access volunteer has been trained to work with individuals with special needs.
