INFORMATION TO HELP PLAN YOUR VISIT
Where do I park?
Parking can be found along the front and sides of the building and is labeled with a white curb.
What about my kids?
What do my kids do during service?
Infants to 4 years olds are welcome to join our Preschool program during the service.
Kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to join us in the worship service. Younger Kids, look for a special bulletin/activity guide when you first come in that is just for you!
What if my preschool children need me during
When you check in you are asked
for a phone number. If there is an issue you will be texted during the service.
Please make sure your phone is on vibrate!
What about kid/student specific
After the service, in what we call
“Second Hour”, there are discipleship ministry breakouts for adults, kids and
students. Come visit the Guest Suite after the service and they can help you
with check in and getting to the right locations.
How does check in/check out work?
Check In is done electronically.
You fill out a form and then it will print a name tag for each child. The name
tag has a unique code and a segment that the parent(s) keep. When you pick up
your child after service or Second Hour, you must present the coded piece to
collect your child.
Hint: If one parent is dropping off and another is picking
up, make sure you give that parent the coded piece.
About the Service
Where and when are services held?
Sunday Worship Service starts at 9:30am
in the Worship Center. The service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
What are services like?
Services are a mixture of music,
prayer, preaching, communion, and other elements. Check out a past service here.
At GracePoint we take communion
(also known as The Lord’s Supper) every week. If you are a baptized believer in
Jesus Christ you are welcome to join us in the taking of Communion. You do not
have to be a member of GracePoint, but if you are not a believer and/or have
not been baptized we ask that you let the plate pass you by. If you have
questions about communion or what it means to be a believer, we would love to
talk to you more about that at the Connect Area in the Worship Center or in the
Guest Suite after service.
What do I wear?
You will see people dressing up
and dressing casually. It is your preference. We just ask that your clothing
not distract others and be modest and appropriate for a house of worship.
The Guest Suite
As a guest, we have a spot at the
church just for you! Please join us before or after service in the Guest Suite.
Here you can find out more information about the church, take a First Step
Class, grab a snack and meet other guests and members.
What is the First Step Class?
The First Step
Class is held in the Guest Suite the 1st and 3rd Sundays
of the month. It is a short 20-30 minute class that walks through GracePoint’s mission,
membership process and discipleship pathway. After the class you will have next
steps for membership and connection that you can take when you are ready.
