GracePoint Church has a long history of worship and service to the community. Shortly after the city of Coppell was founded in 1890, this church was founded in 1896 with 19 charter members as Coppell Baptist Church. The first building was erected and dedicated in 1901. The church remained in this first building until 1948, when a new building was erected in then downtown Coppell, at the intersection of what is now Bethel and Coppell Roads. In the early 1970s, the name was established as First Baptist Coppell and the church moved to its current location on Denton Tap Road. Through the years devoted, caring people have always stood ready to minister to the community in the name of Jesus Christ. That spirit of love, compassion and care that characterizes Jesus' ministry on the earth is alive, well and flourishing in GracePoint today.
9:30 AM Sunday Mornings Followed by Life Groups & Age Graded Ministries
Each and every event at GracePoint goes toward fulfilling our goal of sharing the Gospel with all men and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We have activities for the whole family.
Giving is an act of obedience, giving God back a little of what He has so graciously given us. Every week we have an offering in our service, but many find online giving a better option for their family. Click the links below to setup and monitor your online giving.
If you have an need, prayer request, question about the Bible or the church, we are here to walk alongside and help. If you need a church to call home, we hope you will come and visit us on Sunday morning or drop by the Ark or Church Office during the week. We truly strive to be the church where shame meets grace.
PreSchool Ministry at GracePoint Church exists... to do everything we can to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and provide a safe and spiritual environment for the newest generation.
Check in Procedures: During check in, we will provide you with a nametag for your child. The nametag comes in two parts, one for the child and one for you and/or your spouse. This becomes a security tag that you will use with picking up your child. This will help us ensure that your child is released safely back to you! The tag would also tell you which class your child would be in and you can drop your child at their classroom. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE ROOM WITH YOUR CHILD. If you check in MORE than 15 minutes after the service hour starts you will need to coordinate with the pre-school director or the volunteer at the check-in desk.
Check out Procedures: TRIPLE TAG CHECK OUT: Check #1- Parents only with tags will be allowed inside the preschool hallway to pick up their child. Parents remain outside of the classroom for pick up. Check #2- Volunteers in the classroom will match your tags before handing your child to you. Check #3- Please hand over the matching tags to the volunteers at the glass door on your way out.
