GracePoint Church has a long history of worship and service to the community. Shortly after the city of Coppell was founded in 1890, this church was founded in 1896 with 19 charter members as Coppell Baptist Church. The first building was erected and dedicated in 1901. The church remained in this first building until 1948, when a new building was erected in then downtown Coppell, at the intersection of what is now Bethel and Coppell Roads. In the early 1970s, the name was established as First Baptist Coppell and the church moved to its current location on Denton Tap Road. Through the years devoted, caring people have always stood ready to minister to the community in the name of Jesus Christ. That spirit of love, compassion and care that characterizes Jesus' ministry on the earth is alive, well and flourishing in GracePoint today.
9:30 AM Sunday Mornings Followed by Life Groups & Age Graded Ministries
Each and every event at GracePoint goes toward fulfilling our goal of sharing the Gospel with all men and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We have activities for the whole family.
Giving is an act of obedience, giving God back a little of what He has so graciously given us. Every week we have an offering in our service, but many find online giving a better option for their family. Click the links below to setup and monitor your online giving.
If you have an need, prayer request, question about the Bible or the church, we are here to walk alongside and help. If you need a church to call home, we hope you will come and visit us on Sunday morning or drop by the Ark or Church Office during the week. We truly strive to be the church where shame meets grace.
September 15 from 5:30 to 8pm GracePoint will be hosting a Parenting Seminar on "Training Your Child to Become Financially Responsible". This seminar is meant to help parents as they prepare their children (ages 3-12) to learn the importance of handling money in a wise way. Our hope is that if children learn this young and start putting healthy financial practices in place from a young age, it will cause less stress for them in the future.
We will provide dinner and childcare (6 months through 5th grade) for FREE! Space is limited, so register your family ASAP.
We will have a raffle at the event giving away tools and resources. We will also hear from a highly respected and experienced financial counselor, Rusty Boaz, as he shares his insights both professionally and personally as a father of 3 children himself.
