Disclosure: Registering and paying the $75 deposit will reserve a spot for Camp 2019. This deposit is non-refundable after March 29. Additionally, you will be required to pay the full cost of camp after March 29 regardless of if a student can still participate or not.
CAMP DETAILSStudents will meet to depart at 5:00 AM, June 9, and travel via 15 passenger vans to Glorieta, New Mexico for an incredible three and half action-packed days at Glorieta Camps facilities. Student Life will host an incredible week of rec camp. It includes experiencing camp with hundreds of other students through engaging worship from experienced worship leaders, learning through sound biblical teaching and Bible study, community in Life Groups, and fun in recreation! It's a week of focused learning, heartfelt praise, games, dramas, community building, teamwork, and most importantly, God's Word on center stage.
At Glorieta, students will stay in cabins with their leaders and peers of the same gender. They will take part in age and gender appropriate life groups (small groups) led by GracePoint chaperons. During rec students will take part in games and compete against other churches. During free time, they will get to choose between activities such as the water front activities, zip lining, and ropes courses. The cost of camp includes two travel meals, van rentals, lodging, food, and camp programming/activities.
RAISING FUNDSSince summer 2018, students have had the opportunity to raise money for camp or mission trip with GracePoint through serving at Outreach Opportunities such as Kids Night Outs, Trunk-R-Treats, Hot Chocolate Outreaches, Car Washes, etc.
In order to receive a cut of the proceeds raised this year, a student must serve at 6 or more of these Outreach Opportunities before June 2019. Students who have served at 6 or more outreaches will know how much money they will receive by mid-May (after our final Kids Night Out of this semester). Abby Grace Meads will contact these students and their parents with this information when it becomes finalized. You will receive a discount code to apply to Camp or Mission Trip.
