COVID-19 Relief Efforts

Congregational Care

GracePoints COVID-19 Procedures

  • Mask-Only sections are available during Worship Gatherings
  • Masks are optional but recommended at GracePoint gatherings and functions
  • GracePoint adheres to the current CDC guidelines regarding exposures to COVID-19 and active cases of COVID-19

Suggestion: If you don't consistently wear a mask, carry a mask in your back pocket. One way to commit to making everyone feel comfortable is by keeping a mask in your back pocket. Consider asking people who are wearing masks if they would like for you to wear one while you're interacting with them.

Grief Share

What is GriefShare?

It hurts to lose someone. Find help at GriefShare. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

 How Does GriefShare Work?

GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

 When Does GriefShare meet?

Currently we have one GriefShare group which meets Sunday afternoons from 3:00 – 4:30. If that time slot is not good for you, there are offerings during the week at other churches in the area. Simply go to and look for a meeting by putting in your zip code.

 How Do I Sign Up?

To get information on GriefShare at GracePoint, you can email Bill and Patrice Thompson directly. They will be glad to answer any questions you have.

Is There a Cost to Participate?

The only cost is $15 for the book. However, we don’t want this cost to be an obstacle, so scholarships are available.

Financial Assistance

Finance Response Program

The Finance Response Program is designed to assist families and individuals who are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic through job loss, furloughs, business setbacks, or other unanticipated challenges. There are three ways we are offering assistance for financial needs. Here is a brief description of each:

Financial Guidance: Individuals or families that desire help navigating programs, websites, job boards, resume writing, and other practical helps.

Emergency Financial Relief

Individuals or families that have encountered an unusual financial challenge and are seeking one-time financial assistance through GPC benevolence funds.

Individuals that have experienced a setback in finances beyond a one-time need, requiring assistance with ongoing and immediate financial needs as well as guidance towards achieving financial health.
Based on your need, please read and fill out the appropriate application and email to Gary Cook. Based on your need, you will be connected to a member of our Financial Response Team.
