Korean Service Pastor
I was born in South Korea, raised in Seoul, and educated at Hanyang University in Seoul. God led me to Samsung instead of Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand as a campus missionary. Eventually God led me to be ordained as a pastor in 2009 after graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary during serving Ark Church of Dallas in Coppell. The church had many difficulties and I became a senior pastor after the previous one went to Korea. However, the difficulties continued and it finally closed. While I wanted to take a break due to my extreme depression, God led me to plant a new church, Living Tree Church. GracePoint Church that I met while looking for a chapel proposed me to combine two churches into one. From November 2014 I began worshipping here with a new church name, GPKC, and in October 2015, GPC had the Welcoming Ceremony Worship to celebrate being one.
I am now ministering at GracePoint Church as a Korean Pastor, praying to be used for God’s will and desire and going to VIPs (non-believers) in Coppell and beyond to make them disciples of Jesus Christ. I married my wife, SunKyeong Kim, who I met at the same university and the same church, Seoul Memorial Baptist Church. I have three children, Daniel, Esther, and David.
