Communications Lead & Worship Associate
I have been blessed and privileged to be a part of the GracePoint family since September of 2016. I grew up in a Christian home in Rockwall, Texas and surrendered my life to Christ at a young age. During a night at my local AWANA program, the director explained that they were recruiting kids for something called a “kids choir”. Not knowing what it was, I signed up anyway, and my love for singing began. I always knew that my future would somehow include worship ministry.
I led worship at a small church plant in Garland, Texas for the first time when I was 13 years old, and immediately fell in love with it. In High School, I got involved in a mission organization for 3 years called “Mission Love Never Fails” in New Orleans, Louisiana helping people rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. I assisted the director and led worship for the mission teams that came down through us. It was through this experience where a desire grew in my heart to help lead people to experience an intimate relationship with their Creator through worship and to see lives changed by the gospel.
I graduated in 2014 from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business with an emphasis in Recording. I met my amazing wife and better half Lindsay during my time at DBU and we were married in June of 2013. She is an executive assistant and home stager for a local real estate group, and her favorite pastime is having great conversation over a cup of coffee. We don’t have any children yet, but we’re praying for and excited about our future family.
I am thankful for the opportunity to serve GracePoint Church with my gifts and talents, all of which I attribute to the grace of God. I have been blessed to work in the communications ministry world since early 2016, and I’m thankful to be able to grow in that area of ministry here. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing music, woodworking, sitting down to a good movie or TV show with Lindsay, and enjoying a meal or a cup of coffee with good friends.
