Worship & Communications Director
I am thankful to be a part of the GracePoint family since September of 2016. I grew up in a Christian home in Rockwall, Texas and surrendered my life to Christ at a young age. During a night at my local AWANA program, the director explained that they were recruiting kids for something called a “kids choir”. Not knowing what it was, I signed up anyway, and my love for singing began.
I led worship at a church plant in Garland, Texas for the first time when I was 13 years old, and immediately fell in love with it. In High School, I got involved in a mission organization for 3 years called “Mission Love Never Fails” in New Orleans, Louisiana helping people rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. I assisted the director and led worship for the mission teams that came down through us. It was through this experience that a desire grew in my heart to see lives changed by the gospel.
I graduated in 2014 from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business with an emphasis in Recording. I met my amazing wife Lindsay during my time at DBU and we were married in June of 2013. We've been trying to start our family for 4 years now and we're excited to be adopting our first child in November.
