Chris Meads

LEAD PASTOR / ELDER

I grew up in Richmond, VA, in a family that taught me about Jesus. Growing up, I knew the truths of the gospel, but I did not love the truths of the gospel. I needed a new heart. In February 2011, God granted me new birth, sparking a deep desire to serve in the local church. An opportunity arose for me to receive Bible training at Criswell College in Dallas, TX. My education there ignited a newfound love for the Scriptures and prepared me for future ministry. I also gained valuable experience serving in student ministry roles at Aloma Baptist Church, Sachse's Church, and Prestonwood Baptist Church.

I have been at GracePoint Church since August of 2016. I met my wife, Abby Grace, while we were both serving on the student ministry team. God has blessed our 5 years of marriage with four children - Cash, Adler Jane, Callen, and one on the way! I now serve as the Interim Lead Pastor and Executive Director, working closely with every ministry of GracePoint. I am beyond thankful for our staff team and their gifts that build up our church. I'm eagerly anticipating what God has in store for our future in ministry.

FUN FACTS:

  • I'm a C.S. Lewis fanatic. I own all of his works, well-known and obscure, and have read most of them.
  • The Outer Banks, N.C. is one of my favorite places in the world.
  • I'm a drummer and a visual artist.
  • I love Pho, Cajun Seafood and Dillas!

Spencer Moreau

WORSHIP DIRECTOR

I've been on staff at GracePoint Church since September of 2016. I grew up in Rockwall, Texas and was saved at a young age. My childhood hero was my church’s worship pastor, sparking a passion for serving the local church through music.

I aim to magnify God's greatness and goodness through worship music and see lives transformed by the gospel. I graduated in 2014 from Dallas Baptist University, where I also met my beautiful wife, Lindsay. We currently reside in Lewisville and enjoy doing ministry together.

After 5 years of infertility struggles and prayers from so many friends, God blessed us with our son, Beckham, through a private adoption in 2019. Soon after that, God blessed us again with two surprise pregnancies resulting in our daughter, Avery and our son, Ellis. We are overwhelmed by God's grace toward us!

Now for some fun facts: I’m a lover of all things cajun, seafood, and BBQ, I love to cook, I’m a lefty, I’m a soccer fan and root for FC Dallas, and I’m well versed in The Office and Parks & Rec quotes/references.

Aisea Babcock

FAMILY MINISTRY DIRECTOR

I joined the GracePoint Church family in May 2023 as the Student Director. Since 2014, my ministry journey has woven through various facets of church life, from student and college ministry to adult and worship ministry. I hold a degree in Biblical Counseling and in my current role, I oversee the family ministry for birth-12th graders.

Outside of my ministry duties, I enjoy photography and bowling. However, nothing means more to me than my relationship with Jesus, my wonderful wife, and our adventurous son.

Martha Dennis

FAMILY MINISTRY ASSOCIATE

I am a native Texan, and I have lived in the Dallas area for most of my life. God began cultivating a heart for children within me during my teen years, and I completed my degree in early childhood development at Texas Tech University.  I spent fourteen years in elementary and preschool classrooms. I began working in children’s ministry in 2017, and in 2023 I graduated with my master’s in children’s ministry from Dallas Baptist University. It is my privilege and joy to come alongside children and families and “tell the next generation about the Lord’s praiseworthy acts, about His strength, and the amazing things He has done” (Psalm 78:4).

My husband Wes and I were married in 2005, and we have a daughter and a son. I enjoy spending time with my dad, my three sisters, and their families. In my free time you will find me cheering on my children in their endeavors or curled up with a good book and a cup of tea.

Sara Hardy

BRIGHT BEGINNINGS DIRECTOR

Sara hails from the home of Blue Bell ice cream, Brenham, TX. Yum! She graduated from Baylor University. Sic em Bears! After studying political science and corporate communications she ventured to Washington DC. She fell in love with DC and her future husband, Stewart. God brought them back to the south to settle in Coppell and start a family. They have three children – Miles who is a sophomore at Belhaven University, William a junior at Coppell High School and Anna a junior at Inspire Academy.

Sara and Stewart were led to Bright Beginnings when their oldest child was just over one year old. The next two joined him at Bright Beginnings even as babies. It was such a special place where children were loved and parents were encouraged. Bright Beginnings felt like home. So it was an easy decision to join the school as a 3 year old teacher. After several year of loving on terrific 3 year olds she moved to Bible Story teacher. What an amazing experience teaching God’s Word to these little precious treasures! Then six years ago God called Sara’s family to GracePoint and her to the role of Director of Bright Beginnings. Both have been absolute blessings.

Sara loves spending time with family, watching mysteries and getting a little extra sleep when possible.

KOREAN SERVICE PASTOR

I was born and raised in South Korea. I graduated from Hanyang University in Seoul with a BA in Economics in 1992 and worked for Samsung. I served my mother church as a choir conductor, Sunday school director, and small group leader.

Due to the calling of God, I quit Samsung and studied Th.M at Dallas Theological Seminary. I served a Korean church as a youth pastor, an education pastor, a worship pastor, and a senior pastor. I planted another Korean church and, while looking for a gathering space, I met GracePoint Church in 2015.

As the Korean pastor, I serve the Korean members to help them be disciples of Jesus Christ and be witnesses to Him.

I enjoy watching movies, taking pictures, and watching soccer. I have three kids with my wife, Sunkyeong: Daniel, Esther, and David.”
