Let Your Light Shine before Men that They May See Your Good Works
and Give Glory to Your Father in Heaven
When Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount he said, “You are the light of the world... let your light shine before men so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14-17). When Jesus says “you” and “your” in this passage, He’s not speaking to the individual follower, but to the whole. Granted, a single Christian can be a light in a dark place; but when a few people join together in a loving way, others will see and be drawn to Jesus.
Together, we can be that city set on a hill so that God is seen and glorified. Rally your City Group, family, or a few friends to join us in serving Coppell and surrounding areas on February 20, 2020!

Child Friendly Service Opportunity
GracePoint will be serving with Metrocrest Services by collecting food and supplies for people in need in Coppell and surrounding areas. We also have an opportunity for a few people to help sort and organzine donations at Metrocrest's location.

GracePoint will be serving with Children's Hunger Fund by organizing their food boxes for children in need. They have a warehouse near the intersection of 35E and 635.

Ages 13+ Service Opportunity
Our Calling is a team of volunteers motivated by the love of Christ to search in every corner of Dallas for the lost and needy and offer them true friendship and meaningful support. GracePoint will be serving with Our Calling ministry by organizing their supplies for the homeless.

Many nursing home residents have not been able to see visitors or family for nearly a year due to the COVID-19 lockdowns and safety procedures. There are elderly living right around the corner from us who are experiencing one of the loneliest seasons of their lives. Serve these local residents by providing them with supplies, gifts, and notes of encouragement.
