Why Two Services?
After much prayer and planning, we’re stepping forward in faith. A second service creates space for more people to worship, grow, and be known.
Why Two Services?
After much prayer and planning, we’re stepping forward in faith. A second service creates space for more people to worship, grow, and be known.

Since 2024, Sunday worship attendance has grown by over 15%, and our kids ministry has grown almost twice as fast.
Now is the time to prepare for even more gospel impact.
What Two Services Makes Possible
Kids Ministry Space
Increases the discipleship and classroom capacities on campus.
Volunteer Health
More opportunity to serve in one service and worship in the other.
Guest Connection
Easier to notice and welcome guests and new families.
Midweek Discipleship
Unified growth opportunities for every age and stage.
Here's the Plan
Beginning Easter 2026, GracePoint will shift to two Sunday morning services: 9:00 & 10:30 AM.
Each service will have the same worship and teaching, allowing our church to stay unified while creating space for more people to gather.
Kids Ministry will be offered at both service times, with age-specific discipleship in every classroom. Families will also have the flexibility to worship together in one service and attend Kids Ministry in the other.
This change also allows our volunteers to serve with joy—not exhaustion. By having two services, members can serve in one and worship in the other, creating healthy rhythms and expanding our teams.
To stay connected as one church family, we will continue to plan shared events, celebrations, and group life across both services.
And this shift opens the door to something new: Midweek at GracePoint. On Wednesday nights, adults, students, and kids will gather on campus to grow in discipleship together.
We are preparing thoughtfully and prayerfully.
Over the next year, we will train leaders, build teams, answer questions, and walk this out as one body.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are we adding a second service now?
God is growing GracePoint, and we want to lead from strength, not reaction. Over the past 18 months, attendance has steadily increased across every ministry—especially among young families and children. Our Kids Ministry has grown nearly twice as fast as overall attendance, and most classrooms are full each week. Moving to two services allows us to create space before we’re forced to, ensuring that families can continue finding the way of Jesus in a healthy, sustainable environment.
What will happen to the Sunday Discipleship Hour and Adult Bible Study (ABS)?
Our current Discipleship Hour will transition into Midweek at GracePoint, launching on Wednesday nights in 2026. This will include Adult Bible Study and age-specific programming for kids, preteens, and students. The purpose of ABS isn’t going away—it’s being reimagined. We’ll preserve its strengths: biblical depth, discussion, and community. Wednesday nights will provide more variety and make it possible for families to grow together.
Will the worship style or experience be different between the two services?
No. Both services will be identical in format, worship style, and teaching. The same message, songs, and atmosphere will be offered at both times (9:00 and 10:30 AM). This isn’t about creating two different churches—it’s about multiplying opportunities for people to experience the same unified worship and vision.
How will this change affect Kids, Students, and Families?
Kids Ministry will now offer full programming during both services for birth through 6th grade. This means every child can experience age-appropriate discipleship and still attend worship with their family. Students will worship on Sundays and engage in discipleship midweek. This shift allows every age group to have the best of both worlds—time in corporate worship and intentional, age-level discipleship.
How will GracePoint stay unified as one church family with two services?
We’re committed to remaining one church, one vision, and one mission. Both services will share the same heart, teaching, and leadership. To stay connected across hours, we’re planning intentional spaces of unity—like a meaningful connection time between services, all-church gatherings (Vision Nights, Serve the City, and seasonal events), and continued shared small-group rhythms. Our unity has never been about being in the same room at the same time—it’s about being on the same mission together.
